Post Nine

Evening...

Sorry, its been awhile. Three days of no posting... or feeding to be honest. You know how I was dreading returning to Jessamine? Yeah, well... she was waiting at home for me and she was really upset. The strangest part was that she wasn't going to punish me at first. Not seriously. She just wanted me to say aloud that humans were worms and a bunch of cruel things. I guess when I struck her, thats when she got pissed. I began to turn away to leave, but she blocked my path, hissing and yowling like a fucking freak. I tried to push her away, but she grabbed me and locked me in some room. I couldn't exactly see from the blood dripping in my vision after she clawed my face. So I sat there alone in the dark for what felt like forever. Honestly, when I was talking about the hunger before, it was no where near like the past few days. This time it was as if something was tearing away at me, both body and mind. I could feel my body shrinking and weakening. It took me the entire first day to heal a wound that would normally be completely healed in seconds. When I finally could see, I sat up and just stared at the wall. From what I could see in the room, it was just an empty stone room with no windows and one tightly locked door. I know it was locked because I spent about ten hours banging on the door and trying to open it. When I finally gave up and sat down again, I finally found something in my pocket. A small folded piece of paper addressed to me. When I opened it and saw that it was from Jason, I was surprised, but read it anyways. This is what it said.

Dear Ryder.
First of all, I want you to know that I don't hate you. I never have. I just wanted you to get the hell out of here. I'm sorry that I couldn't help you the other night, but as you know, the creator is the most powerful. When you are ready to leave, just give me a hint. I will help you. But I can't come with you because even though Jessamine is frightening and obsessive, she is my only form of protection. What Jessamine never told you is that she too has a fear, and that is her creator. His name is Isac Reaper Vondescure and he dislikes vampires and is trying to find a cure for vampirism. And he is also trying to kill all who are linked to him. When you escape, be careful who you tell your last name. Because for all you know, he could be anywhere. And it would destroy me if you were to die so young. Anyways, Jessamine won't notice this note because I've been doing this kind of sneaking around for years. I will be waiting for your hint.

Jason Rigmind Vondescure

I stared at the note, shocked that Jason was actually wanting to help me out. I quickly hid the note away, preparing myself for my escape. After what felt like years, the door slowly opened, revealing bright light from the outside world. In the doorway stood my maker and the center point of all my hatred. I looked up at her innocently, trying not to show my loathing of her face. Her gastly gaunt face which looked like she could devour you. Her pale blonde hair which looked like piss. Her pure white eyes which looked like a deformed cat's with her squashed face. She smiled her dark, disgusting pure white smile as she opened her arms.
"Oh, my daughter. You appear to have locked yourself in a room. Please. Come to your mother so that we can have dinner together." She said happily. I glared at her as I stood up, growling at her slightly but walked over to her none the less. She smiled as she wrapped her arms around me, then led me out into the kitchen. She pointed to a bowl with blood as she smiled happily.
"Look, my darling. I got you dinner! I know you'll enjoy this quite alot." She said happily. I looked at her, then to the blood. I was hungry but I had to make sure that she didn't have someone locked up somewhere.
"How did you get this?" I asked. Jessamine just smiled calmly.
"I did some dealing on the black market and got some donated blood. Just for my little daughter." She cooed. I smelt it, then quietly began to eat it like soup. Despite my hunger, I wasn't about to become an animal. I watched her as she paced, smiling happily. When I had finished, I sighed, leaning back.
"Jessamine... Why do you do this to us?" I asked. She paused in her pace, then turned to me.
"Why do I do what to who?" She asked, placing a hand on the table. I leaned forward.
"Why do you keep Jason and I as prisoners here? Jason stays because he is afraid and I stay because you want a daughter and you torture me to stay. But really... are you trying to build an army or a family or something to try to overthrow Izac? Is that why we're here? Because really... you're afraid?" I asked. I cringed as I watched Jessamine's nails scratch the wood table, the wood stripping off in her fingernails. She snarled at me angrily.
"Ryder. You are stepping on dangerous grounds. And you do not speak of Izac in this house hold, do you understand?" She growled.
"What house hold? All I see is a prison." I spat. The next moment was a blur. All I saw was a streak move across the table, then Jessamine was at my throat. I glared at her, kicking her in the face as hard as I could. She yowled, gripping her face as I landed onto the ground. I quickly leapt up and turned away.
"Jessamine. I don't want to be part of your prision any more. I will never be yours." I growled. Jessamine suddenly lunged at me, but before I could do anything, Jason stepped in front of me, pushing me behind his back.
"Jessamine. Is this any way to treat a vampire? You are acting like an animal!" He snarled. Jessamine pointed at me.
"She is being a brat! She needs to be punished again!" She howled. Jason glared at her.
"Jessamine, would the elders approve of the way you are treating a newborn vampire? Of course not. Cease this at once or I contact one of them to dispose of you." He snarled. Jessamine froze as I looked up at him. He just maintained eye contact with Jessamine, then turned to me after what felt like forever.
"Ryder, we are leaving now. Go pack your bags and I will lead you out." He stated before turning to Jessamine.
"If you try to stop us, I will rip you apart. I am sending her away to Mitternacht Private School as her legal guardian." He stated. Jessamine just stood there, frozen. I felt a little bad for her, but quickly ignored those thoughts as I remembered what she had done to me. I walked upstairs and began to pack. Now I'm waiting for the car to come and pick me up. Hopefully Mitternacht is nice...

Bye for now
