Post Five

Hey all. I know, I know. I didn’t put a post up yesterday. But you wouldn’t believe the connection that we have here. Some days its amazing, but others its horrible. Anyways, long story short, my internet went to the shitter yesterday. And Jason kept trying to tell me how to fix it, to make matters worse. I could have done without seeing his stupid face today… Anyways, onto the story.

I laid awake that night, unable to sleep. Did you know that? When you’re a halfer, you don’t get sleep. It’s like a bad case of insomnia where your constantly hungry for blood… yet you don’t want to drink it… so you’re pretty much starving and craving when you have nothing to satisfy you. So I laid there for what felt like days, staring at my ceiling and trying to control my craving. Not to mention I was completely alone. I’m sure if someone was there with me, I would have been able to distract myself from this feeling. But there was no one. I was beginning to wonder where everyone went when suddenly my door was opened. Jessamine stood there calmly, holding a hand out towards me.
“Come my daughter. It’s time to feed.” She said gently. At this moment, I was far too hungry to protest so I grabbed her hand as tightly as I could. Which wasn’t saying much at that point. She smiled happily and lead me down to the kitchen where on the table before me was a bowl of red fluid. I could smell the strong sent of iron filling my nostrils. I walked towards it, touching the bowl. She had micro waved it. No sense in getting a new born to kill someone yet. Not to mention I wasn’t even a full vampire yet. I stared down at it, a rush of emotions rushing through me at once. I felt hungry and wanted to devour the meal… yet at the same time I wanted to throw the meal at the wall and scream. I didn’t want to be here. I looked up at Jessamine.
“I can’t drink blood yet…” I muttered. Jessamine’s smile disappeared as she hurried over to me, feeling my forehead, then examining my face.
“But you look starved…” She said softly. I nodded slowly, looking up at her.
“I can’t drink blood yet. I’m hungry but I can’t.” I explained. Jessamine sighed, pushing a lock of her hair back. Her eyes opened again slowly as she gripped my shoulders tightly.
“Listen Ryder. You aren’t human anymore. You are a vampire. Even if you aren’t a full one, you’re no longer pathetic like you once were. You must drink blood.” She stated bluntly. I stared at her, my eyes wide. I softly pushed away and began to walk upstairs.
“Don’t talk about humans like that…” I muttered gently. As I exited and walked down the hall towards my room, I saw Jason eyeing me in the dark. He had a stunned expression on his face. I looked up at him, baring my non-existent fangs.
“What do you want?” I screamed. Jason glared at me, grabbing the fabric on my shirt and lifting me up into the air.
“You don’t belong here. Go home.” He snarled, then tossed me back towards the ground as he began to walk away. I guess something clicked inside of me at that point, because I twisted my body around into an offensive stance crouched on the floor. My eyes darkened as I dashed forward, punching him in the back of the head. I glared at him furiously as he turned around.
“Don’t ever say anything like that to me again. Ever. Or I’ll kill you.” I snarled. Jason smirked, raising an eyebrow. He leaned forward towards my ear.
“Fuck you, whore. I could rip your heart out with just a flick of my wrist.” He snarled. He then continued his walk back to what I assumed to be his room. His threat was short lived, though, because as he walked away, I saw him rub the back of his head where I had hit him.

Fast-forward from there to now, and you have my origin. How I came to be. that’s all there really is for my intro. Now it’s time for current events… starting… tomorrow! Haha, sorry. It’s just I have a deadline to keep up and I’m running over. So I’ll post again tomorrow

Hope you keep reading
