Post Two

MY ORIGINS:

Ryder March (me) was born on December 1st, 1993 in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia to the loving parents, Linda and Ryan March. She grew up relatively normal until her mother divorced her father and remarried. Ryder slowly began to become stranger as time grew on. Her once long, lovely blonde hair turned dark and her innocent blue eyes were encircled in black eyeliner. Her 5’3 body was covered in skinny jeans and hoodies. In other words, she had transitioned into an emo girl. She went to school as a relatively normal girl until things began to grow strange in her sophomore year. And by the time she realized everything was going wrong, it was too late.

I walked into the classroom, my eyes searching for a desk. In this class, I had to figure out where to sit because I had to chose for everyone and hope no one else sat around me. I never really liked talking to people other than my friends… Its not like I was mean or anything, I was just a bit shy and that made me uncomfortable. It was on this certain day, however, that I would choose to sit by the window and my friend, May (the one I like) would walk in and bring up some idea that sounded bad. Its not like I listened to my conscience though. At that time in my life I was ‘rebellious’ (yeah, about as hardcore as a grandma’s knitting contest) and didn’t care about what would happen. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way. May wasn’t the brightest bulb, but I never held that against her. Sure I’d tease her about some things, but it was just cause that’s how I show affection… for some reason… Anyways, She walked in, sat down and just started staring at me. I glanced up, already sure she was up to something.
“What do you want?” I asked, looking back down at my book. May flipped her dark brown hair over one shoulder and curved her glossy pink lips into a smile. Her black circled warm brown eyes searched my face.
“You. Me. Downtown. Tonight.” She stated. I sighed, looking out the window, then back to her.
“Yeah, like my mom’s gonna let me go out to Downtown.” I stated bluntly, picking up a pencil and beginning to doodle. May sighed, grabbing my pencil.
“Come on, Ryder. You’re seventeen! You’re turning eighteen in three months! You can’t honestly keep following your mom’s orders forever!” May cried. I turned to her, my ice blue eyes flickering, then after snatching my pencil back, I placed it neatly on the page.
“If I want to live in her house, it’s her rules.” I reminded her. May groaned, flopping her head onto her desk. She raised an eyebrow.
“Can you ask? Please?” She asked, batting her eyelids. I sighed, looking away, but it was too much. I moaned with irritation, then nodded.
“Fine. I’ll ask. But if I get in trouble, I’m blaming it on you, got it?” I asked. May cocked her head to one side, eyeing me curiously.
“You’d get in trouble for asking?” May asked. I shrugged calmly, chewing on the end of my pencil as I turned to look out the window.
“Sometimes, yes but I…” I started, but my voice trailed off as my blood ran cold. There, looking as if it were staring straight up at me in the morning grey, was a woman cloaked from head to toe in blood red and black. Her golden, wavy hair hung down heavily, cascading down her shoulders. She seemed to smile at me, causing my heart to stop. Although I was far, I could make out that her eye teeth were longer than the rest.
“Ryder?” May asked, causing me to snap back into reality. I turned to her momentarily.
“Ah, yeah, sorry… Just… tired I guess.” I said calmly, glancing out the window, but the figure was no longer there.

(Shit, Jason’s bitching at me some more. Gotta go.)
